Everything Improv & Sketch Comedy.

Toronto Sketch Comedy is a community of funny people on a mission to expand the opportunities for comedians around the city.

From producing live shows, to shooting feature-length sketch revues, to hosting bi-annual sketch competitions, TSC is all about supporting safe space comedy and celebrating a city filled with undiscovered talent.

The TSC Crew

Though comedy has always been a part of their lives, Jordan, Peter, and Taylor started taking their funny bones a little more seriously towards the start of the pandemic, when people were desperate for a laugh. After partaking in a Sketch Writing workshop in the Summer of 2020, they formed a community where they (and their pals) could continue to write filmed sketches, and develop as comedians.  What started as producing the odd sketch here and there on Youtube, blossomed into a full-blown Sketch Competition, where comedians from all over the city could enter for the chance to win some cash and to have their material reviewed by a panel of professional comic judges. The popularity of the competition grew drastically, which led to the creation of the first feature-length TSC Sketch Revue which premiered in June 2022 at the Society of Beer Drinking Ladies. Production for the first revue of 2023 has now begun. Live and in-person, they are now producing (and co-producing) many improv and sketch shows a month at multiple venues around the city, including The SoCap, Comedy Bar, and The Rivoli. Jordan and Taylor are recent graduates of the Conservatory Program at The Second City Toronto, and Peter has wrapped directing TSC’s first-ever School of Sketch, created for aspiring comedy writers and performers (next session in Spring 2023).

Blair is an actor, comedian and writer from Toronto. She regularly performs across the city both in sketch comedy, and as an improviser. Her duo, 24 Double B, won the World’s Biggest Improv Tournament in 2022, and she continues to slay on stages all around the city. Credits include Homeschooled (CBC) Movie Night (picked for the LA Comedy Film Festival) and the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival.
